    An ozone generator is a advanced device designed to produce ozone (O₃), a highly reactive molecule composed of three oxygen atoms. Known for its powerful oxidizing properties, ozone is widely used across various industries for effective disinfection, purification, and odor removal in both air and water treatment applications.

    Working Principle
    Ozone generation primarily relies on the corona discharge method. When oxygen-containing gas passes through the discharge gap between two electrodes under a high-voltage electrical field, a controlled micro-discharge (corona discharge) occurs. This process breaks down oxygen molecules (O₂) into individual oxygen atoms (O). These free atoms then combine with undissociated oxygen molecules to form ozone (O₃), according to the reaction:
    O + O₂ → O₃

    It should be noted that only a portion of the electrical energy supplied to the electrodes is used for ozone synthesis, as significant heat is generated during the reaction. Efficient cooling—typically using circulating water—is essential to maintain optimal operating temperatures of the ozone generation module. Both the quality of the feed gas and the temperature of the cooling water critically affect ozone production efficiency. Lower temperatures generally result in higher ozone yields and system performance.
